The nurses of Allied Services Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center gathered recently to celebrate Nurses Week 2012, the theme of which is “Advocating. Leading. Caring.” Professional nurses have been providing comprehensive care for residents at this 371-bed facility for over three decades. It offers the region’s only skilled dedicated respiratory unit, as well as a unit for residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. For many patients, it serves as a transition program, rehabilitating them for their return home. For information, visit alliedservices.org.
