Allied Services' Kim Schaeffer on Call the Doctor

Allied Services’ Kim Schaeffer, LPN joined a panel of experts on WVIA’s “Call the Doctor” last night in a special feature, “Healthy Outdoors,” exploring the benefits of exercising outdoors and the countless trails and natural resources in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.

Kim Schaeffer, LPN, is an avid runner, completing the Mega Transect 28.5 mile race at Bald Eagle State Park in 2014. She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, karate and snowmobiling. An Allied employee for 18 years, Schaeffer serves individuals at Allied Services Vocational Services in Scranton.

She joined a panel of experts including Beth Stark, RDN, LDN, Manager of Lifestyle Initiatives, Weis Markets; Natalie Gelb, Executive Director, Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority; Leslie Lyness, DO, Neurosurgeon, Geisinger-Community Medical Center; Matt Byrne, Marathon Runner and Owner, Scranton Running Co; William Dempsey MD, Family Physician, Wright Center.
