Allied Services’ Dr. Greg Basting, will join a panel of experts on WVIA’s “Call the Doctor” on Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. The program is the second in a two-part series focusing on the heart health, in particular, the treatment options and lifestyle changes you can make to improve your heart health. In addition to the panel discussion, viewers will hear from individuals sharing their own struggles with heart health. Angie Webby Whrel and Lou Marino, both inspiring Allied Services success stories, will be featured.
Dr. Basting is Vice President of Medical Services at Allied Services and Medical Director of Heinz Rehab Hospital in Wilkes-Barre. From 1990 to 1997, he served as Associate Director of the Stroke Program at Allied Services. Dr. Wolk is a partner in Practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates, and is an Associate Professor at The Commonwealth Medical College.
A graduate of the University of Scranton and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr. Basting a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lackawanna County Medical Society.
