Community partners, patients, staff and leadership from Allied Services Integrated Health System recently gathered for the grand re-opening of the Dickson City Rehab Center. Atty. Bill Conaboy, President and CEO, was joined by Trooper Alex Douglass for the official ribbon-cutting.
The Dickson City Rehab Center, one of Allied Services’ 14 outpatient rehab centers, was closed from February to December of 2015 due to water damage at the property. During the closure, patients and staff traveled to a temporary site on Allied Services’ Scranton campus. Guests at the re-opening admired the newly renovated facility and updated treatment space.
The Dickson City Rehab Center offers a wide variety of outpatient rehabilitation programs including orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, balance, arthritis, stroke and other neurological disorders. Lead by Clinic Manager, Lori Ashman-Williams, MPT, the team of physical and occupational therapists carry specialist certifications in the therapeutic massage and bodywork, and the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, lymphedema, orthopedic conditions and vestibular disorders.
