Allied Services’ Denise Piepoli, RN, BS, CDE, will join a panel of experts on WVIA’s “Call the Doctor” on Wednesday, April 8th at 7:00 p.m. The April 8th program is dedicated to the topic of Diabetes. Viewers will learn about the types of diabetes, how to recognize symptoms, and how to manage the disease through lifestyle changes, medication and more.
Denise Piepoli, a staff nurse and diabetes educator at Allied Services, is uniquely qualified to provide support and advice to individuals and family members dealing with diabetes. In addition to her own experience of living with diabetes, Piepoli draws on years of training, culminating in her qualification as a Certified Diabetes Educator. Whether providing training to staff at Allied Services Home Health or educating the public, she works to empower patients to learn more about the disease in order to achieve their health goals.
Piepoli will join a panel of experts including Dr Jignesh Sheht, Wright Center; Kathryn McKernan Patetta, Registered Dietician & CDE, Susquehanna Health; Sarah Shuff, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
